We Need You!
Volunteers at Country Heart Farm are essential to the success of ALL our programs and services.
Volunteers assist in many different ways....
Horse & Animal Care
Volunteers are trained in Grooming, Bathing, Exercising, Feeding, Training
and Health Maintenance of our various four legged therapy team members.
Horsemanship & Riding Lessons
Volunteers are trained as leaders and side walkers in our riding programs. Make the world of a difference for students as they participate in their scheduled lessons and events.
In & Around the Barn
Volunteers assist with projects that; provide our therapy horses, goat and potbelly pig with updates to their living quarters and environment, with building gardens, improving ADA access, doing routine
lawn care or minor repairs...The results of which are increased availability and improved access by clients to our services and programs.
In & Around the Office
Volunteers participate in activities related to communications, event coordination and scheduling, photography and videography, social media posting, website updates, marketing and fundraising, receiving and ordering supplies.
We also offer opportunities for High School Senior Projects, Scouting Badges and Volunteers in Training
For the protection and safety of our visitors and residents
ALL VOLUNTEERS (over the age of 16) MUST obtain:
PA State Police Background Clearance and CHILDLINE Clearance.
There are no exceptions! As a volunteer both are available free of charge though the links below.
